Achieving Excellence Together
Marlborough Day Nursery
Our Unique Qualities
We’ve been giving young children boundless opportunities to learn through imagination, creativity and play for over 30 years, while offering parents the peace of mind that comes from knowing their children couldn’t be better cared for in an environment in which they can learn, enjoy themselves and flourish.
There are many qualities that help to make us unique:
-
Centrally located, our large nursery enables us to provide six beautifully appointed group rooms specifically designed for babies, toddlers and the over 3’s. In addition, children can access so many extra rooms across the nursery including our indoor hall, soft play room, library, oasis room and our sensory room.
-
Our brightly coloured soft play room, along with our spacious indoor hall provides fantastic opportunities for children to be physical and burn off their energy; there’s climbing apparatus, den building, obstacle courses, a bike and cycle track and equipment to support hand eye co-ordination such as bean bags, bats and balls.
-
We have a dedicated graduate led provision for the over 3’s which is situated over 2 floors, offering the flexibility of all year round and term time only places.
-
We engage our children in the highest-quality teaching and learning opportunities which enable each individual child to develop at their own pace and in their own way, physically, intellectually, and emotionally.
-
We have 2 separate outdoor areas, both fitted with sunshades and areas of artificial grass coverings.
-
At Marlborough we use a parent app called Famly; it’s a great way to stay in touch and keep you updated in real time throughout the day as to how your child is doing. We are proud of our strong links with parents and carers and involve them in every aspect of their children’s development.
-
Our fees are extremely competitive, especially when you take into consideration all the facilities and activities that we are able to offer. Our fee structure is simple and transparent, and fees are inclusive of all meals, snacks, drinks, wipes and even baby formula milk.
-
We have received numerous awards including Investors in People status, the Quality Counts award by the Government, and the Healthy Tots Status by Leicestershire County Council for recognition of physical activity, healthy eating and emotional health and wellbeing.
-
All these factors, and so many more are why we have earned our reputation as a leader in high quality, progressive childcare, and why we were recognised as a top 20 recommended nursery in the East Midlands area (out of 913 nurseries).
