At Marlborough Day Nursery, we are committed to providing exceptional care and enrichment. We aim to be completely transparent about our fees and how we utilise funding to ensure your child receives a high-quality, all-inclusive early years’ experience.

• Non funded session fees are inclusive of all meals, snacks, drinks and wipes. Fees are typically reviewed each year, but we will always give you a month’s notice before we make any changes to your payment plan.

Sustainability Fee

• We want to be completely transparent about how the Sustainability Fee supports our provision. The Government funding covers the basic cost of childcare hours – but not the meals, materials, and experiences that make Marlborough Day Nursery so special.

• Here’s how the £2.00 per hour is allocated:

  • Consumables – 30% (60p per hour) - Wipes, tissues, suncream, wetsuits, dry wipes, aprons, Sudocrem, soft wash and PPE

  • Meals, Snacks and Drinks – 40% (80p per hour) - Breakfast, healthy snacks, two-course hot lunch, two course tea, milk/water, all dietary requirements catered, all cooked by two qualified chefs onsite

  • Additional Activities – 30% (60p per hour) - PE sessions, soft play, sensory room, cooking/gardening (all materials provided), home learning resource kits, stay and play sessions, graduation and keepsake gifts, seasonal celebrations, community and library visits, outings and digital tools like Famly.

• We’ve worked hard to keep this fee as low as possible, despite rising costs. In reality, the true cost of providing everything listed above is significantly higher than £2.00 per hour. The nursery is absorbing a large proportion of these costs so that families can continue to access a high-quality, all-inclusive early years’ experience without facing unaffordable fees. Without this contribution, we simply could not continue to offer the level of care, enrichment, and consistency that children at Marlborough Day Nursery benefit from every day.

Opening Hours

The opening hours of our Nursery are 7.30am through to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Our Nursery is open all year around closing only for bank holidays, Easter and the Christmas period.​

​Sessions

​​​​​​​​​​We have full day and morning and afternoon sessions available, because we want to work around what’s best for you and your child.​

​Inclusive Fees

Fees are inclusive of all meals, snacks, drinks and wipes. Fees are typically reviewed each year but we will always give you a month’s notice before we make any changes to your payment plan. Please enquire within the Nursery for our current fees.

​Payment of Fees

Fees are payable monthly in advance. Payment methods include standing order, childcare vouchers, credit/debit card, cash, cheque and transfers directly into our bank account.

Discounts

Our sibling discount is 5%
​

​Minimum Booking

Please note the required minimum attendance is one full day/two half days each week throughout the year. In our experience this gives your child stability, allow them to adapt to the routine, feel settled in their surroundings and form bonds with friends.​

​Settling In

We offer complimentary settling in sessions for our parents and children before they embark on the first day at nursery. These sessions give us the opportunity to get to know you and your child in a relaxed and informal manner whilst gently getting children used to the new environment. It’s important to us that both parents and children feel comfortable, safe and secure at our Nursery so we work with you to know when you’ve both had enough settling in sessions!​
